MAPLETON, N.D. - There were no injuries reported when a garage caught fire and spread to a house in Mapleton at 3591 166th and 1/4 Ave SE at just after 11pm on Sunday. According to the Cass County Sheriff's Department, when multiple fire crews arrived on scene they found a garage on fire which then spread to a home. There were people inside the home at the time of the fire, but everyone got out and no one was injured.
Grand Forks, ND-- Police are searching for a suspect after a gas station was robbed at just before 11pm on Sunday night. Grand Forks Police were notified of the robbery at the Orton's Cenex Gas Station in the 2000 block of South Washington St. near the Grand Cities Mall and the Grand Forks Public Library. The suspect is being described as a black male wearing a black t-shirt, light gray sweater, black jeans, black tennis shoes, and a black mask over the bottom of his face. He is 5'6" and has a slim build.

Bemidji, MN-- The Bemidji Fire Department responded to a call of a house fire in the 400 block of 15th St NW at 3:05am on Friday. When crews arrived on scene they found fire coming from the home. Eleven Firefighters used 1 truck and 2 tenders to extinguish the fire quickly, which was in the bedroom. Crews were on scene for about an hour and a half. No one was hurt in the fire. It is currently being investigated by the Bemidji Fire Department and at this point appears to be accidental.

Grand Forks, ND- A food processing plant had to be evacuated after a fire late Wednesday night. The Grand Forks Fire Department responded to a report of a fire alarm at just before 11pm at the Simplot Plant on Gateway Drive just east of I-29. WDAY News was the only news crew on scene. When fire crews arrived they found smoke and fire inside the building. All the workers in the building had already been evacuated. The fire was quickly contained and put out. Damages are estimated at $150,000 dollars to the building and the contents inside.

Fairmount, N.D. - A man is seriously hurt after a dirt bike crash just east of Fairmount, ND at just before 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Richland County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a crash and found 20-year-old Tyler Carson had lost control of his bike. Tyler was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and released due to medical reasons. He was transported by Breckenridge Ambulance to Sanford Hospital in Fargo with what appear to be serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
