Street crews fill potholes across Grand Forks
GRAND FORKS, ND (WDAZ)--If you've been anywhere in grand forks, you're aware, potholes are popping up all over town.
Streets department crews are filling potholes on main throughways like Cherry, Belmont and University starting today.
About 16 people are working around the clock to dry and fill the asphalt gaps.
It's all in hopes of creating a smoother ride for driver -- but it's an expensive band aid.
“Per hole maybe close to $80 something like that. It takes a lot of time to get the water out of them, get them dried out put the material back in,” said Mark Aubol, of the Streets Department.
crews say the fix is only temporary -- they planning to install a more permanent solution this summer.
