Dozens of children looking for foster homes
GRAND FORKS, ND (WDAZ)--A call to find homes for children.
Nearly a dozen children around Grand Forks are looking for their forever homes....and that does not include the county.
There's especially a need for homes for older foster kids.
On Wednesday, PATH North Dakota held an informational meeting at its downtown office to provide information to people who are interested in becoming a foster parent.
They want people to know you don't need a big home or be married to raise a foster child.
“People might think that they have to live in the perfect house or have the perfect relationship and that's not really true. We license people from all walks of life,” said PATH Recruitment and Licensing Specialist, Jen Goettle.
If you missed the meeting and are interested in learning more about becoming a foster parent, you can contact PATH for more information.
Here is the number you can call if you’d like to get in touch with them.
