Hundreds celebrated Easter at Red River Zoo
FARGO—Families went wild for Easter at the Red River Zoo.
Sunday afternoon, hundreds of people walked through the zoo for the annual Easter party.
Thanks to the snow the traditional easter egg hunt was canceled.
Instead, the zoo put up egg signs for a scavenger hunt.
Families also got to enjoy some free hot chocolate while visiting the animals.
Visitors say events like these help get people out of the house for quality time together.
"Kids get out and they have so much fun, and moms and dads just open up and have such a good time," said one visitor.
If you missed the fun, the zoo will be hosting a "zoocation" on Monday for kids from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
