GRAND FORKS, ND---You might want to reschedule your lunch plans for Tuesday, Oct. 2, because Home of Economy is serving up something special---gator.
It's all to celebrate 80 years of business in Grand Forks.
On Monday, they smoked a six foot gator--which they'll serve for lunch at Tuesday's party.
The lunch is free, and there's even a guest of honor--Bruce Mitchell (you might know him better as "Alligator Man") from the show, "Swamp People," will be there signing autographs.
Home of Economy says the party is their way of thanking the community for all their support.
"A few years ago they found some gators in the city park in Brainerd and made me think that we needed to be eating gators before they started eating us,” said Co-owner of Home of Economy, Scott Pearson.
If you'd like a serving of gator, you can stop by Home of Economy on Tuesday, Oct. 2 from noon to 2 p.m.
